Person receiving the text: I just got the Scorpion text, I better meet up with my friend right now before I become TOASTY!

When you're in the unfortunate position of having a prepaid phone low on minutes, and a friend of yours sends you a text message that you don't delete to remind you to text him/her back when you get more minutes.

"My friend Josh sent me a text."
"Yeah? What did he say?"

You call someone text-dumb when they speak with you just fine IRL but they are abnormally mute while texting; hardly opening up at all. They have a difficult time expressing their thoughts in text.

Man, I talk to this one girl and I talk quite a lot about random things in college but whenever I text her it's like she can't speak at all! I think she is text-dumb.
