Similar to a 'sandwich grind' seen at a nightclub with a girl and 2 guys on either side. However, a Club Sandwich involves more than 3 people.

The phrase derives from two sources; (1) traditional club sandwiches have three slices of bread instead of two, (2) it's a sandwich in a nightCLUB.

Sandwich Penalty

In the film business (specifically in Vancouver, BC), the craft services crew member is expected to bring the on-set crew a selection of sandwiches 3 hours after the general call time. This is because many of them are so busy, they do not have time to get food for themselves.

Grip 1: Dude, we're 20 minutes into sandwich penalty...

Grip 2: I know, she better be toasting them...

pizza sandwich

An entity similar in nature, but inherently different from pizza. A pizza sandwich is a sandwich that contains tomato sauce, cheese, and whatever other toppings that are desired. What makes a pizza sandwich different from pizza is the placement of the ingredients between two pieces of bread, in accordance with the definition of a sandwich. This allows for easier consumption and transport of the said food.

Damn Lowry, I'm starving, I could really go for a pizza sandwich.

Sandwich Punch

Definition - A Sandwich Punch is the act of punching someone across the face, whilst having a sandwich in your hand, over your knuckles or between your fingers. After successfully punched someone across the face with a sandwich (The more sandwich left on their face, the better) you then throw the sandwich directly at their torso, leaving even more sandwich residue on their clothing.

Jack: That's funny shit, Sean got 'Sandwich Punched' so hard by Connor, that left bread under his eyes and mayonnaise on his shirt.

Connor: I know, wasted my Turkey, Bacon and Mayonnaise sandwich though...
