A guy who talks like he's known you his whole life even though he's never met you is a strange kind of poser.
The boy wasn't getting the attention of the kinds of guys (besides knowing what his band's name was) he wanted attention from, so he wrote lyrics about fighting with people he never met before, so that he's got their attention if he really wants it. His target didn't give him much thought before, but now thinks he's a poser.

The poser couldn't go skydiving or do anything else without a camera, because having nothing to show for it wouldn't make her look tough or colorful anymore, she would be uninteresting, as everybody is throughout most of their lives. People are interesting for a little while after they are born, then they are interesting again late in their life, but most of their life there's nothing interesting about anyone in particular.

Get the Posermug. A common misspelling of the word "Poseur", used to define someone who pretends to be something he/she is not. This type of person generally prescribes to a particular social group, in order to be trendy or popular; but does not really believe or practice anything that particular group does.

Get the Posermug. Someone who acts like they're from Baltimore even though they're from outside Harrisburg. Someone who has not only a thousand different screen names or online profiles, but also has fictional hometowns or current locations, fictional lives to go with them. A poser tries to outdo other people at silliness while trying to get taken more seriously than everyone else.
The poser was always this and that, always under somebody else's skin to make himself/herself look/feel more authentic. The poser wanted an authentic image.

Get the Posermug. Someone that thinks a team wants to be like another team because the other team has the better record. Nobody likes to lose, but would you rather lose as you or win as somebody else? It doesn't take any honor to win.
If you're not fighting as you, what's the point of being undefeated? People wouldn't allow their team to lose without a fight, but before they wouldn't let them lose, they wouldn't let them become a poser team. They would rather their team be losers or underachievers who were themselves than to be overachievers who were somebody else, even if it seemed stupid to everybody else.

Get the Posermug. A term used by skaters to describe another ‘fake’ or ‘all for show’ skater. Posers usually suck at skateboarding and can quite easily get on your nerves.

Get the Posermug. Someone who portrays themself as a hero, or a villain, or has somebody else portray them as a hero, or villain.
The two girls posed for a photo for the books before running off with all the money, just like the rest. That made them posers, not heroes.
