Mostly used in Virginia or the DMV area. Used as an agreeing term, such as “ you’re right “ could be changed to “ you’re hip “
Alex: “ samantha is such a whore “
john: “ everyone’s already hip to that “
Alessandra: “ did you here what happened to peter today “
Gabriela: “ no get me hip “

A Team Rocket OC (with a disheartening backstory) from the art platform Deviantart who has hypnotic abilities (but uses it to create an army of rubber Pokémon wannabes) like the Pokémon; Hypno (but without the rubber thing). And since she’s a Deviantart OC, there’s going to be some NSFW content.
“Holy shit! Why was there a need to have Hip-N0 hypnotizing others in rubber to Pokémon wannabes?! I thought Pokémon was mostly innocent?!”

You know what’s up
(A saying from late 1990’s school gym programs in the U.S. which implied that it was a good thing to be athletic.)

Tyler’s effortless charisma keeps him in the loop wherever he goes. He’s that person who just gets it—cool, perceptive, and always ahead of the curve. He embodies the essence of ‘It’s hip to be fit’ in every situation he enters.”

A.k.a. supplemental nudge; it refers to where you give someone's hip an assistive push with your hip to shift him over in a bench-seat when he is unable to do so under his own power, such as if he is totally exhausted, if he has a huge lapful of objects, or if the floor is not clear/flat/level enough for him to brace his feet solidly against it and slide himself over.
Trying to effectively brace one's feet and scooch over into the middle of the seat far enough to make room for a third person can be difficult in a pickup truck with a floor-mounted manual shift-lever and transmission-hump in the way, so the entering passenger may be obliged to give said middle-rider a helpful hip-nudge to slide him over the rest of the way so that the entering passenger can seat himself and shut the truck's door.

A type of sandal that was created from someones impractical fashion sense for footwear that has gone beyond functionality, making it everyone else's problem that the owner can't help but complain their feet hurt. Typically made of organic/natural materials and a Native American design.
