"Wait a minute, this isn't super smash bros. this is anal sex!" is often used in situations where your playing super smash bros and get beaten to the point where you forget that you're playing a game and know that the only comparison to what's happening to you is forceful anal sex.

The Super Mario Series is a massively popular game series featuring the familiar red hatted character Mario. The series started WAY back in 1985, with the release of Super Mario Bros. on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). It was created by legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto (b. 1952) alongside his development team Nintendo R&D4.
In this article we're mainly going to talk about the original game and its development.
Super Mario Bros. was a game released for arcades (yes, arcades search it up) and of course, the NES. By overthinking you would easily know the arcade version was to simply rack up more coins, because it's literally just the NES version but Mario turns yellow when he has a Fire Flower powerup.
Super Mario Bros. was created by Shigeru Miyamoto and his development team Nintendo R&D4. It was created as a "farewell" to the standard ROM cartridges and to usher into a new age.. of floppy disks. That was unexpected. Anyways, this game was created in conjunction with another popular series starter, The Legend of Zelda for the Famicom Disk System (and also the Famicom/NES). Development was culminated by the developer's previous games for the system like Excitebike and Kung-Fu (actually, a port of the arcade. LOL!). The game was designed to be simple, not because they wanted this to be a game for beginners, but rather because they wanted to sell the game by the end of 1985.

Ron: Should I buy Super Mario Galaxy?
Jon: I think it's best you don't.
Ron: Why?
Jon: You're really bad at gaming, I think you should play Super Mario Bros. on the NES first.
Ron: Oh.. okay!

The most successful fire emblem advertisement campaign in history. The premise involves a several weebish anime swordsman that interact with Nintendo titles like pokemon, mario, zelda, etc. The ads were so successful that it managed to turn a niche franchise that nobody plays into lower-mid tier franchise that some people play.
The ads often pretend to be a "crossover" of various characters , but in reality non-fire emblem characters exist solely to be the playthings of the fire emblem ones. Since 2001 they have slowly dominated the character roster of Smash brothers to the point where their representation greatly eclipses franchises that are more well renowned and successful than fire emblem.
Fun fact, fire emblem was so poorly successful that they were going to cancel the franchise. Thanks to the constant advertisement of super smash bros, it will survive for another 100 decades

Once upon a time , video game representation was just. But everything changed when the weeb emblems attacked. They devoured several beloved franchises and sidelined them to the point where Nintendo actively refuses to looked at retired veterans such as F-Zero and Mother.
Fire emblem does NOT deserve to have as many spots as POKEMON. Pokemon is the biggest media franchise in the world, nobody would have known fire emblem if it wasn't for super smash bros
The devs at Nintendo really need to stop their boners for this overrated franchise

A 1985 platform game developed and published by Nintendo for their Nintendo Entertainment System. It stars Luigi, a plumber who travels through eight worlds in the Mushroom Kingdom to defeat Bowser and rescue Princess Peach.
The game is a sequel of sorts to the 1983 arcade game “Bros.” and was followed by two separate games titled Super Bros. 2, one in Japan in 1986 later retitled “Super Bros: The Lost Levels” overseas, and one internationally in 1988 that was chiefly “Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic” modified to feature Luigi, Peach, and Peach’s advisor Toad as the playable characters (strangely removing the character Imajin or anyone who played the same as him entirely.)
While Bros. was the first Luigi game, Super Bros. is generally cited as the game that kicked off the success of the Luigi franchise, including platformer hits such as Super World, Super 64, Super Galaxy, Super 3D World, and Super Odyssey, as well as spin-offs such as the Kart series started by Super Kart in 1992 and the Luigi series started by Luigi: Superstar Saga in 2003.

I spent my morning listen to SiIvaGunner’s rips of Super Bros. music and wondering why it’s called Super Bros. when Luigi doesn’t have any brothers.

A game that is inferior to its predecessor Super Smash bros 4 in every way. Why did this game add so many irrelevant characters? Shouldn't characters be added to the game based on importance? What do we have for relevant dlc Sephiroth and Banjo. All the other dlc seems bland and out of place for a game about Nintendo's all stars. A game where the online mode is even worse then Super Smash Bros Brawl because of the games engine. Sure the game is fun but when your in elite smash and you just fall off the stage randomly that isn't fun. Also the online mode costs money and you cant even taunt in elite smash. For some reason as well Sakurai also took out the disconnect players when their targeting the same person too often. Super Smash Bros is one of Nintendo's most popular multiplayer video game series. How can the fan base over look all these flaws in this game?
