wide open throttle

When the light you're stopped at changes to green and you floor the accelerator and take off at maximum acceleration rate. Very fun. Term is really only applicable to motorcycles and stick-shift manual cars. Commonly abbreviated as "WOT".

I filtered my way to the front of the light and went wide open throttle when the light hit green. Went 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds. Take that cagers!

Going wide open throttle on a motorcycle is literally the funnest thing in the world.
