Get the shield toadmug. When something is bad, but critiquing said thing isn't possible due to the diverse actions or portrayals that occur within.
A: I was bingeing shows on Netflix during Corona and I watched a really bad one called Another Life.
B: What's so bad about it?
A: Pretty much everything. To make sure it wasn't me I went to watch some reviews and noticed that any of them that didn't like the show will get people talking about how diverse the cast is or that there's a female lead.
B: But the shows still shit?
A: Oh yeah, but you can't say shit since the makers used their Diversity Shield to divert any genuine critical debate.
