In Australia a person who gets called a Rat is often in the younger generation/demographic under 20 who usally hangs around the city in a gang wearing the same clothes as a collective. They wear the most hype stuff like TN's, some known brand of cap, a silver chain, bum bag, adidas joggers (branded sweat pants) and a very oversize top usally the most expensive part of the outfit. They like to show the best clothes their mum and daddys credit cards can buy. Also usally with a mullet or long hair left down
