lamp means not as lame as the word lame. calling someone lamp is not as mean as calling someone lame. its a step above lame. many people can be considered lamp if they are not cool or mean to little kids. A lot of lamp kids dont accept their middle name for what it it because they are just lamp. if you are freinds with someone but dont really want to hurt their feelings, you call them lamp.
Sean: You are so lamp Ashleigh!
Ashleigh: Wut you are such a liar! Why am I lamp?
Sean: You wont accept the fact that your middle name is Whitney, like your mom's name. You are also are a meany pants to little kids
Ashleigh: Ya you are right at least im not lame, im lamp, its cooler! But i would have to say that colleen is the lampest of them all
Sean: Ya i agree. Whitney is sooo not lamp she is so hip and in style.

Portmanteau of street slang and hacker talk. Lamping is chilling out coding. Originally popularized from the phrase "Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP", the acronym "LAMP" now refers to a generic software stack model.
