The louder the thwack, the more intrinsically valuable that person is to the world.

Kline keeps donating money to organizations to have buildings named after himself, and Specter reacts by donating more himself, to place his name on more buildings. It's a giant-ass dick thwacking contest.

The cold war was effectively a dick thwacking contest between the US and Russia.

Commonly abbreviated as DLC, it is...pretty straightforward. Content that you can download, usually for a certain price, which cannot be negotiated.

Microsoft has Downloadable Content for XBOX 360 games, which can be purchased with Microsoft Points

Disc Locked Content

A form of DLC included with games where instead of paying for downloadable content, you pay for a tiny (around 80 kilobytes) file that unlocks the content that is already on the disc.

I was going to buy additional characters for SF x Tekken, but then I realized it was disc locked content.

dick measuring contest

A conflict in which two parties (ususally male) are vehemently disputing something of limited relevance. Generally, both parties are somewhat wrong, but each refuses to be back down for fear of being thought the have the smaller of their two penises. Similar to a pissing match, but generally, the conflict involved involves a larger element of machismo, and continues on only because neither side wants to be seen as the one who backs down.

The White House and the Conservative Right have been in a real dick measuring contest over the qualifications of this new Supreme Court apointee, Harriet Meiers.

Connect the Stars

1. Like saying "Connect the dots". However, in a much cooler, more astronomical way.

2. A game in which several people look up into the sky and make random shapes. Whoever can make the most ridiculous pattern/shape wins! This is one way in which ancient people made constellations.

1. "Do you know if Sally and John are going out?"
"I don't know dude, why don't you connect the stars for yourself?

2. "Want to play a rousing game of Connecting the Stars?"
"Uh, sorry man, I'd love to sit around and make dots and invisible lines turn into detailed designs, but I'd rather watch paint dry."
