It is also a place where some people have to pick between their own mental and physical health and their grades.

Get the school mug.So, school goes on for about 7 hours a day for about 180 days of the year. That one year of school is 1,260 hours of our life that are wasted on mostly useless subjects. now times 1,260 by 12 years of school. You get 15,120 hours. That's just 1st through 12th grade. now add kindergarten and preschool. That's 17,640 hours. That's the necessary stuff. Now bring in the BIG numbers.
For a bachelor's degree in college, you need to go through at least 4 years of college to get your degree so that's 5,040 hours of college. Add that onto the 17,640 hours of necessary school and you get 22,680 hours of schooling. That's 945 days of school. School wastes around 3 years of our life. Not all at once, but slowly every day, 7 hours by 7 hours.
Now, I'm not saying that school Isn't important. I'm just saying that we all probably don't need to know what the equation of pi is or what the Mayan god's names were. Maybe spend that time on how to defend ourselves, or how to raise a kid. Now, I'm only thirteen and in 7th grade but I've had 7 older siblings complain about how useless most parts of highschool seem. I'm just saying that those three years of our lives could be better spent.
(BTW, it's 1:30 in the morning so my math may be a Lil off so don't scream at me...)

Get the School mug.It isn't forcing you to be with people you dont like it actually encourages antibullying, people just suck. It looks like a prison because people keep skipping and such making them have to keep you in, that and they're trying to keep bad people out. It teaches "un needed courses" because you dont completely know what you want until college or maybe highschool. Just because some teachers are crappy doesnt mean school is, school is not just one thing it is simply a branch from the government that is constantly mistreated by other people's stupidity. You wanna blame someone for your drama blame people or the school board or even the government if you wanna be cliche, school is not the problem because its not one thing its more of an idea being poorly carried out.

Get the School mug.School is a serious cruel punishment when you know nothing. Usually it starts around 4-5 years old, suffering from hard work of pain. You eat shitty food. You have to be quit and can't talk to friends, and one of the worst things in school is the state test to see if you gain any smartness. If not you get disadvantages. You get 12 years of school and if you go to college it's like 14-20 years of school. Elderly people are the survivors. Ask you grandparents. They will tell you everything. School Sucks, and you can't stop it. Just like prison.
