Staten Island Accents

Girls and boys from Staten Island have these "accents". Mostly girls, but also some boys. Some are very thick, and some aren't. We 'staten islanders' pronounce COFFEE as CAWFFEE. sometime's it is hard to understand what we're saying. Not ALL people from staten island have staten island accents. People usually describe the accent by telling us we add an extra "A" to the end of some words.

Erica: "hey, can i have some cawfee?"
Vic: " why don't you get it yaself, yer so lazy ."
Chris: "ah you have Staten Island Accents?!"

Sea Island

A country club, vacation resort, neighborhood, and company based in Glynn County, Georgia. Sea Island is of of the coast of Brunswick and is half way between Savannah and Jacksonville. The island is accessed by driving through Saint Simons Island. The three main parts of Sea Island are the Cloister,a luxury hotel; the Beach Club, soon scheduled to be renovated; and Ocean Forest, the new golf club. The island also has houses on it. Most of the houses are either vacation homes or are rented to tourists who visit. A much smaller group of houses are lived in year round. Many people who visit Sea Island will come every summer for a few weeks and rent a house. This practice is most common among families in Macon and Atlanta. Sea Island is known to be an extremely preppy and Southern location both of which are heavily emphasized. It also is known for its golf. The Sea Island Company has developed two other resorts in the area; the Lodge on Saint Simons and the Lodge in Cabin Bluff. Besides golf, Sea Island is known for it's beaches and bingo featuring Billy Bingo. Membership to the Beach Club is no longer offered without the sale of property and criticisms have been raised about how memberships to the social club were awarded after the club was privatized. The common feeling among older members was that membership went from "who you know" to "who can pay the most." Currently Sea Island is involved in developing northern Saint Simons Island into a new golf course and neighborhood and building the new Beach Club.

Long Island Pier Corndog Fryer Dip

long island

Long Island is a suburb of New York City. Generally the further out east you get the less dense the population gets. There is more to Long Island than the Hamptons! *gasp* There are also much more people there than snobby white people in rich towns. I've lived here my whole life and we have awesome beaches if you're willing to go past the crowded obvious ones, some really nice towns with good schools, and a lot of history. But we also have some really crappy towns that would be "ghetto" no matter where you put them (roosevelt, some parts of hempstead), there's a very high cost of living here for the mostly middle class population, and the snobby people in the rich towns suck. Long Island is like a suburban city one could suppose. People who do not live here or who have never been here shouldn't assume we all think we are better.

is possibly the best beach ever. and ron jons? uhh try again. they rip you off. thats stores for wannabes. you gotta go to the surfshack or farias. thats where its at. and 7th street used to have the best surf till all those annoying ass shoobies came that skimboard? fuck that shit surfings the way to go.
