Many people seem to be confused about the layout of the city of Los Angeles and think that it is just made of a billion suburbs. Los Angeles County is the most populous county in the United States. The county seat is the city of Los Angeles, which is the second largest city in the US. Other cities in the county include Long Beach, Glendale, Pasadena, Compton, etc. These cities are much smaller than Los Angeles, but they're interesting. In these cities you'll find attractions such as parks, museums,beaches, and much more.

People often think that the cities which surround Los Angeles are part of the city, when they are actually all part of Los Angeles County.
