Orange Mound

Orange mound was the first ever community made for African Americans by African Americans. It borders East Memphis and South Memphis, sitting roughly between Highland and Airways east to west and Lamar and Southern south to north.

Orange Mound is known by white Memphians "the most dangerous neighborhood in Memphis", which of course isn't true. It is more dangerous than most, but it only gets the reputation as the worst because it is a very well known area, probably because of its close proximity to The University of Memphis.

Park cuts straight through Orange Mound, and is perfectly fine to drive down, even at night. But if you're white you probably don't need to be walking around there. If you do it at night you probably deserve whatever ill fate you will inevitably meet.

Often its name is just shortened to The Mound.

"I hear shots ringing out from Orange Mound and Sherwood Forest every single night"

"Damn I thought you lived in a nice house on campus"

"Yeah but The Mound is just one block away"

A Clockwork Orange

The best book and movie ever made. It's about a moral ppunk named Alex. Alex and his three droogs ;Pete Dim Gergoie. they dress in all white suits and bowler hats abd cod pieces.They go out for a bit of the old ultra violence. and one night his droogs betray him and hit him in the face with a bottle and leave him there(this is after Alex just killed some lady) then he gets put in jail. He get in this rehab program and it turns him againgst every thing he loves. He get out of jail and goes home to find his mom rents his room out. So hes on the streets and he runs into two of his old droogs. Dim and George, they beat him up and then alex goes back to the house of one of the people him and his droogs prefromed some of the old ultra-violence on back in the day. He goes there and the guy has no idea it is him until he is singing in the bath. The guy locks him in this room and play beethvon (at the rehab they trun ALEX AGAINST BEETHVON)Alex jumps out the window and nearly kills himself back at the hospital he get cured so he likes ultra-violence.....THE END

orange county

to one of the previous definers:
Villa Park, Cowan Heights, Orange Park Acres, Copa de Oro, North Tustin, and Anaheim Hills are all in central Orange County... come on get it straight! north county is garden grove ect ect. i live in Orange about 2 miles from Orange Park Acres... and where I live it's mexican's and 711s

The only nice part of Orange County is South County and small parts of Central County.

orange drank

a type of liquid formation of oxycodine. very much like Purple drank except the actual medicine is used for treating migranes apposed to being cough medicine.

orange drank is only orange drank if you mix it with sprite anddd add a few jollyranchers for true flavoring.

makes you very relaxed.

down south they got the purple drank, but in newengland we got that orange drank.
