Incomplete fragrance masking (IFM): The failed attempt at using a perceived better smelling fragrance to hide a less desirable odor.
For example, the girl sitting next to me in the computer lab used a bean burrito to hide the pungent smell of her perfume. I think that was her intent anyway. You just can't tell with Incomplete Fragrance Masking.

When someone does or says something they normally wouldn’t do or say if they weren’t hiding behind a mask.
Jen- Man that woman just said I was late even though I’m early!
Holly- she had some mask courage to do that!

A TV viewing audience is not your mother, so if you're a reporter on the news, why don't you tell your mother which businesses and people broke the stupid fuckin coronavirus rules?
Reporter- He/she/they broke the mask rules and my mommy is not the governor.
Authority figure (governor)- We will make sure they get punished, don't worry baby.

Another way for authorities to make money, kind of like charging somebody with trespassing for going to a store and shopping (because they didnt have on a mask), and nothing more.
Mask fines are another way to collect money from somebody you want to put out on the street. Telling people something will end quickly is a good way to condition them into being compliant robots for when the next orders and guidelines come out, that way theres no fighting, people think it's normal because it has been for a weeks or months, and they're told it's the new normal. Theres nothing normal about a group/entity trying to take control of everyone else's lives, that's a step toward a totalitarian government, not a step toward reopening or freedom. A good way to take freedom from people is to keep telling them that they will be free only after they keep doing what you tell them to do and complying with your orders, and that it will end. If they compromise something else, if they give the group trying to take control something else, they will get something in return in the end. There's nothing waiting for anyone at the end, any more than theres anything waiting for a cow at a slaughterhouse.
