Submitting this because all the definitions are wrong. This term originated back in the 90's when Jack in the Box made national news from a bunch of stores getting people sick with E. Coli bacteria, which is basically from shit contamination. Hence, Jack in the Crack was born.

Therefore, crack fiend has been passed down through the generations of Hawaiians and has morphed into a new meaning. It now is used to describe annoying people, as well as people addicted to crack. And sometimes, it is used to describe people who wish they were addicted to crack.
