Diamonds from Sierra Leonne 

Also known as "blood diamonds". Diamonds that come from the country of Sierra Leon on the West African coast. These diamonds are notorious because during Sierra Leon's civil war they were used to fund war and the military groups who made money from diamonds were known to commit atrocities.
Many government and human rights groups have criticized the sales of diamonds from Sierra Leon

4. An incredible individual who is infinitely generous and lovable. She's also incredibly dynamic and once you think you've got her figured out she surprises you with a whole new dimension on herself.

Baltimore Diamonds 

The tiny shards of glass left in the street and sidewalk after a car window is broken by a thief, usually to steal contents from the car and sell them for drug money.
I didn't want to park on that block when I saw a pile of Baltimore Diamonds in the empty space.

I just finished vacuuming a bunch of Baltimore Diamonds out of my backseat.

Diamonds in the rough

1. Person - When a person has some hidden talent or characteristic or personality trait that is not immediate seen. But once you learn more about this person you see how much they are really worth.

2. Thing - Something that does not seem to be worth paying attention to but has a hidden quality that is not immediately seen.
Person- GUY 1 - "Man that girl is 350 lbs but is an expert pole dancer" GUY 2 - "Yeah shes diamonds in the rough"

Thing- GUY 1 - "Man this game is so old it's from 1981 who would want to play this" GUY 2 - "Yeah but man this is the original Donkey Kong it's priceless".
