Friday Syndrome

1. The condition of gradually losing sanity due to the inability to remove "playbacks" of songs from your conscious mind. This occurs when hearing a song several times in a row, wherein your brain can create a cyclical version of the song that repeats key parts of the song without ever ending. In extreme cases, even one word or phrase can be looped infinitely depending on the cadence, tempo, and succession of notes, such as the viral song "Friday" by Rebecca Black for which this syndrome is named. Short term symptoms are agitation and short temper. Particularly long cases, one hour or more, can lead to acts which are unusual for one not affected by this syndrome, such as hitting oneself or screaming, and in extreme cases, attempting to tear oneself's clothes off, coating oneself in maple syrup and various car parts, and blocking rush hour traffic by screaming little known facts about President Buchanan at drivers has been seen in desperate attempts to overcome the syndrome. There is no known cure.

2. The condition of the syndrome in a group of an unspecified number.

3. Any other condition in which one is unable to rid oneself of audial memory.

Gene: OH, WHAT THE HELL?! THAT THING GAVE ME FRIDAY SYNDROME FOR LIKE A MONTH AND NOW YOU REMIND ME AGAIN?

Parker: I didn't know the Atlanta Symphony's performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons had affected you that way.

Friday Night Funkin'

You play as a little midget with cyan hair who rap battles the strongest beings in the multiverse for his girlfriend that will leave him in 5 months cuz its a middle school relationship and he doesn't speak real words he only says "beep bop skdeep" and you use default WASD or Arrow Key keybinds to beat them, Some mods for the game have 6 keys like Shaggy. For me (the writer) I use Kade Engine which is a modified version with more features and better for making mods.

Jim: Ah man I love playing Friday Night Funkin' its so fun
Bob: I will kill you in your sleep, How dare you play that gross game?
Jim: What the hell man It's just a game I play no big deal?
Bob: grabs shotgugn

Moccasin Friday

A weekly tradtion at school or anywhere that involves wearing moccasins every Friday, hence Moccasin Friday.

It's Moccasin Friday so everyone wear moccasins tomorrow.

pegasus friday

On every Friday, a badass picture of a pegasus is uploaded onto the internet to the joy of hundreds. It started when rice of the website rice and cabbage started wearing a shirt with a pegasus on it, which a co-worker started enthusiastically referring to it as pegasus friday. The phenomenon has stread to webcomics forums, Facebook, and now has its own website, which sells a shirt bearing the slogan "It's Pegasus Friday!"

Funky Friday

Funky Friday was a well known ice skating dance/party in London, UK held at Streatham Ice Skating Rink on Friday evenings/nights which no longer occurs. The popular UK rapper Dave who hails from Streatham uses the lyrics “We come through like Funky Friday and have all of your mandem skating” in his track featuring Fredo, suggesting that Dave himself has been to a Funky Friday and uses his connection with Streatham as a way of associating with this event. It brings a little bit of nostalgia to anyone who grew up in the time when Funky Fridays was still around.

Person 1: There’s an ice skating dance going on it Steatham this evening, wanna come?
Person 2: Oh you mean Funky Friday, that’s a regular occurrence my g.

Dressing-gown Friday

The practice of working from home on a Friday. Has become widespread with the advent of the broadband connection. The practice originates from the 1980s, when bankers, lawyer and other professionals elected to have a day of dressing casually on Friday, so they would not ruin their suits with spilt beer in the evening. This was known as dress-down Friday. However the act of selecting casual clothes prroved beyond these individuals who now simply just work from home in their dressing gown.

John is taking a Dressing-gown Friday, as he had a working dinner last night.
