Personal responsibility card

Similar to the race card, but used by conservatives.

Something they tout as an answer to every single social issue in existence. Such reasoning is fallacious, however, because in actuality life is much more complicated..
Conservative: If people don't want babies, they shouldn't have sex. That way, abortion wouldn't even be necessary. Think, liberals, think! Personal responsibility, people!
Liberal/Moderate: Ok, so if abortion was banned, it's true that less people would have irresponsible sex, and there might be far fewer abortions. You're right on that one. But what about in cases of rape? You can't mount the "personal responsibility" defense there - people don't choose to get raped.
Conservative: Make abortion legal only in cases of rape then.
L/M: Well how are you supposed to know when the hell she's lying then? You'd be encouraging women to lie. Same problem as before, she just has to employ a different method of getting around it. How are you supposed to distinguish between the liars and the true victims?
Conservative: Polygraph.
L/M: In a perfect world, those things are fully reliable. But they're clearly not. Since we don't live in a perfect world, and polygraphs sometimes fail, we may as well legalize abortion considering that there are many cases where it's very necessary. Of course there are whores who will use it as birth control. But that's unavoidable.
"personal responsibility card"

Personal responsibility is important but it doesn't take into account factors that are outside of the person's control. For instance, conservatives are operating under the assumption that welfare discourages the work ethic and personal responsibility. But what about people with Parkinson's, or similar diseases? What about valuable workers that have been laid off en masse by struggling companies and need aid to get that back on their feet? Are they necessarily lazy and lacking personal responsibility?

Personal Opinion in Music

This is something every human being should adopt. Everyone is different. Everyone has a different face, different arms, legs or whatever. Same goes for music. Personal opinion is what seperates people the most. And music is something every person enjoys, and everyone is different in this. So will people start, please, to accept that just because someone listens to different music to you, that they are automatically idiots or twats. My music taste is extensive. I listen to mostly Trance and Dance music, but I also like Hip Hop, Rock, Metal, R'n'B, and I even like classical sometimes. I like something of every genre, and I could walk up to anyone on the street, and say 'Hi, I like that' without it making me seem like a pussy or whatever. Because I can accept people have different tastes. All you gangsters, all you grungers, all you goths, All you ravers, you can all get along with each other if you break this barrier of music you all hide behind, and accept different people have different tastes.
Rapper: 'Hey goth, I hate you because you listen to shit music'

Goth: 'Screw you, my music has passion unlike your shite'

Me: 'You are both the same. You both have Personal Opinion in Music If you wore suits and no jewellery and make-up, you would ignore each other and get on with your lives.'

Rapper & Goth 'That man is sensible. I will shake your hand sir and bid you good day'

Example Person

A term used to replace names to avoid misinterpretation of external humane involvement in explanation of terms. Often followed in suit by an appropriate number if multiple Example Persons are required
Example Person #1:I entered a definition into urban dictionary and used Example Person instead of a random name to be an example of a person who says pro-single sex marriage phrases to avoid arousing ire from those who may believe I am insulting a personal contact of mine.
Example Person #2:Good idea, definitions and interpretations on urban dictionary can become truly ambiguous with the involvement of monikers.
