vb: 1.the act of inviting people to be your "friend", in online services like MySpace & BlackPlanet. just to increse your "friends list" at these type of web sites.
2.trying to fill your friends list fast by inviting any type of person.
3.what someone/personA, who is found by an person/personB from thier past, thinks when B invites them to be thire friend. however the two people did't really communicate with one another.

man i don't know if they want to connect with me or if there just friend collecting!

friend chameleon

-A very unreliable friend who flakes at a moments notice, never answers calls, and "blends in" to a group of friends only when it fits his/her needs.

-Acts a different way around each group of friends.

-I haven't seen Joey in like 6 months, and he wont call me back!
-I know! He only hangs out with us when he has absolutely nothing else to do. He's such a friend chameleon.

Friend with Herbal Benefits

An acquaintance that you hang out with for the soul purpose of smoking their marijuana, often at no financial cost to you. A friend with herbal benefits may even be a person you would despise were it not for their herbal benefits.

Steve: "Yo, wanna come smoke with me and Scooter?"
Jim: "Nah man, that guy's a tool! Why do you even hang out with him?"
Steve: "I don't know, I guess he's my friend with herbal benefits"

Friend Zone

A term used to vilify a woman for excercising her right to say no. One day the male gender just decided that if you're friends with a woman or nice to her that she's obligated to date you and if she doesn't she's a horrible person. Women are put in the friend zone too, but society vastly ignores this fact. It's usually guys who go after extremely attractive women, and when they're rejected they think of this woman as shallow even though he himself is shallow for only pursuing women he sees as beautiful or pretty.

Bob: Wahhh! Suzy put me in the Friend Zone!

Joey: Forget her! All women are evil!

Suzy: Excuse me? Not only did I loose one of my closest friends because it turns out they were only pretending to be my friend in hopes of getting in my pants, but somehow this all makes me the villain here?
