For when somebody misses a ball thrown to them in football, or they lose a race. It is used to denote their inability to cope with losing and/or makes excuses as to why they lost .

Another term for a “dumb twat” and a good thing to use infront of parents of teachers so they don’t spank you.

Melon head is also being debated on wether it should be a racist slur to black people because of the stereotype that black people like melon.

Calling somebody a “melon head” will give you ultimate power almost as if that big chubby grape snapped his fingers.
