Schwarzenegger Effect

The Schwarzenegger Effect is used to describe a situation whereby someone wins an award or is selected for preferment, based on reputation and not by results.

The background to this phrase is based on the generally accepted opinion that Arnold Schwarzenegger won his 6th Mr. Olympia title on his reputation and not because he deserved to win.

Bob: Man, you had a tight car stereo installation! Well done in taking 2nd place in the 'Auto Sound Off' contest!
Dave: Thanks man, but I really thought our team should have won and not Mike!
Bob: That's the Schwarzenegger Effect dude - you know Mike is the man around these parts!

1) When a male and/or female gets addicted to one of the opposite sex after only talking/hanging out one time in real life.

The Oreo poo effect

The next mornings bowel movement(s) after you eat an entire box of oreo cookies the night before. A study conducted on the Orea poo effect seems to suggest that eating a half brick of Old cheddar cheese can make the symptoms much more severe. The condition is chartesized by an initial release of hard black excrement, then a second wave of creamy lighter colored stool which is immediately followed by another hard black release. This condition is not to be confused with The shits Ahoy syndrome.

The doctor said he'd never seen such a bad case of the Oreo poo effect before in an animal.

crayon effect

The phenomenon of never being able to get your ass clean no matter how many times you wipe. It is as if there's a brown crayon in there that keeps drawing a mark on the toilet paper; the only conceivable way to defeat it is to keep wiping until the crayon is completely eroded, but a) that would take forever, and b) the skin on your ass would have been torn off well before then.

Another way to look at it is this: a normal wiping scenario is like rubbing out a crayon mark, but with the crayon effect it's like you have to rub away the entire actual crayon itself.

"Why aren't you sitting down?"
"I had the crayon effect earlier today, and it hurts like hell."

An expression meaning that if one thing/person/etc. is affected in some way, all those surrounding it will do the same.

1. If one infected person sneezes in an elevator, most of the people inside will eventually become sick.
2.If the Soviets invade one of its neighbors, many others will succumb to the same result soon enough.
