When an IT item is 'bad' or turned green aka tampered with. Typically when an automated server is messed with by a human making it turns jade. Also known as drift.

this is a smaller part of the ranking system of automated infrastructure.

Gold=good, bronze=degraded, green=jade

When the system admin signs onto the server and jade it up.
