Tim's Law

In Apples to Apples, Tim's Law refers to the ever frustrating occurrence of drawing a card that would have perfectly fit the meaning of the previous card played.
Judge: All right, the next card is "smelly."
Player 1 (thinking): Well, I don't have any great matches, I'll just play this one.
(draws "Skunk")
Player 1: TIM'S LAW!!!!!!

Law of Grote

If there is a predator missile in Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare 2, it will defy all game logic and instead of going for the group of 3 or 4 guys, it will go for you. You can not hide, it will always find you, and you will not survive.
When playing CoD, I swear that I can never break the law of Grote. I hate predator missiles!

Law of Surprise

The Law of Surprise is a custom as old as humanity itself. The Law dictates that a man saved by another is expected to offer to his savior a boon whose nature is unknown to one or both parties. In most cases, the boon takes the form of the saved man's firstborn child, conceived or born without the father's knowledge
Law of Surprise... it's something we invoke at times, but rarely. Usually we just take gold.

Stone's Law

The principle that the more stoned you are, the more likely normal things around you are to break. It is a direct relationship between the user and the objects (electronics, doors, food packaging, public fountains) wherein the objects break in front of the user, causing him or her to wonder if the item is really broken or if they are really high.

Circa 2012: named for the American designer, professor and coffee connoisseur, who first proposed such an idea in 2006.
(After getting high) "Weird, my headphones have always worked before but now the left earpiece is broken. Is it broken? Or is this just Stone's Law?"

Gay man 2: Omg, you're such a bottom.
Gay man 1: Kween, plz. I saw you last night, dancing as such.
