2. People who are unable to live in the Midlands or the North of the UK because it isn't 'cool' enough.

Etymology:

'Brighton'; a small coastal town in the south of England with a disproportionate population of 'artistic' types.

"Uh-oh here comes a right bright bunch."

"He looks a bit fookin bright."

Synonymous with 'The Irony Brigade*' (TIB's)

*regular attendees and destroyers of film events.

Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes is an absolutely awesome BAND (not just Conor) that manages to put so much emotion and power into every melody they make. Please, dont love them because conor is "sexy" (hes not, hes a drug addicted depressed crybaby) but instead because conor is a genius. The lyircs in these songs are more real then anyhting i've ever heard, and i think thta calls for genius.
Still, many call the band a sell-out, because now 50 million poser-punk emo freekas are all calling conor "the sex" who swear they slit their wrists. instead of being angry at the band, i think real fans should just feel sorry for it. ESPECIALLY because emo kids ruined live shows. no more live shows for me :(

but seriously a great band lead by the eternal Conor O, the father of my children (or hopefully one day soon)

Bright Eyes, N. A crappy overrated band fronted by the supposedly "deep" Conor Oberst. Commonly mistaken as one of the greastest indie singer songwriters, but this title is already occupied by people such as Elliott Smith and Jeff Mangum,along with others but Oberst isn't. But he does reconize talent as he's signed the wonderful band Tilly and the Wall.

Bright Eyes Fan: Oh my god, I love his lyrics there so good and like, deep you know?

Me: No, his lyrics are about as deep as a toilet bowl.

Brigham Young

A term used to describe a very attractive older woman, more commonly known as a cougar. This term originated to talk about how hot a cougar is while she can hear every word you say. Most commonly used in an environment where one doesn’t want to be accused of sexual harassment. It is important to note that Brigham Young University's mascot is a cougar. The term can also be used as an acronym BYU.
