Upper Class Mentality is seen often, if not primarily, from middle class individuals. It is the attitude that they are a huge success and all others are inferiors. People with an UCM (pronounced You-See-Em) generally drive a slightly better than average vehicle, and have a slightly nicer than average home, while looking down at those who have not acheived this "status". These folks are very prone to bankruptcy and heartbreak once they realize they truly are not better than everyone they look down upon. This is a chronic condition, and coming to this realization may never actually happen. Keep your eyes open, you see em? :)
Susie: Hey Joe, look at that arse with his nose up in the air driving his big SUV. You see em tailing that guy in his rusty old car?
Joe: Yep, he definitely has an Upper Class Mentality.
John: Why does Larry always act like he is better than everyone, and talk about his boat? I hear he can barely afford his payments.
Wolfgang: Yep, he is a UCM.
A suburbanite is a great definition/example of someone with an Upper Class Mentality

When a criminal is being arrested and they try to resist arrest, then proceed to claim that they ‘cannot breathe’ while being detained by an officer.
A man ran away from an officer and when tackled to the ground, he claimed that he couldn’t breathe. You could say that he had a George Floyd mentality.

The belief that New York is the center of the world and that nothing more than 2 hours outside of New York City is a part of America.
A misguided perception of non-New Yorkers and the belief that others are provincial because they don't live in NYC.
The idea that everything you could ever want is in NYC and there is no good reason to ever leave.

New Yorker: So where are you from?
Maryland-er: I'm from Baltimore.
New Yorker: What do you mean Baltimore? I thought you were going to say Brooklyn. Baltimore? That's so far away, that's like in the middle of nowhere!
Maryland-er: Dude, it's like 3 hours from here.
New Yorker: I know! It's so far!
Maryland-er: Man, you have such a New York Mentality.

1) It's something you'll get used to. A mental mind-fuck can be nice.
2) Oh, man, that test today was such a mental mind-fuck.

Of or pertaining to extreme dominance. This type of mentality describes that which was commonly seen during the 1980's. Competition, wealth, and power were of extremely high importance during the decade so it was both expected and common for an individual to go above and beyond on a consistent basis.
"William Wallace had an 80's mentality during the Battle of Stirling." -A reference to the scene in Braveheart when William Wallace soundly defeated the English.

An inability to examine an issue in depth. An inability to get beyond the basic thought, which sticks in their head like a mantra, closing off all other avenues of consideration.
Due to Larry's bumper sticker mentality, he was unable to understand the nuances of an issue beyond a basic premise, as in "guns don't kill people, people kill people." He lacked the ability to think beyond the bumper sticker.
