Bobby Brown

Slang term referring to high quality marijuana. Bobby Brown, of the R&B group New Edition, was married to Whitney Houston and their problems as a couple from the beginning, until the time of her death, were highly publized. Domestic abuse and drug addiction plagued the couple for a majority of their relationship. After reports surfaced of physical violence people began referring to high quality marijuana as Bobby Brown because he "hits hard." A reference to his abuse of Whitney and of how marijuana of a higher quality "hits you hard." Some consider the reference one in bad taste and that it downplays, or makes a joke of domestic abuse, a very serious issue to many. Those who feel the reference inappropriate have most likely never had really good marijuana otherwise they would understand the reference and why it makes perfect sense.

I smoked some Bobby Brown last night and was stoned for 4 hours, that stuff was fire.
