of or pertaining to a return to engaging in low tech activities, ones people had been doing for centuries, but then became obsolete and replaced by technological advances. They are practiced again because it is found to enhance one’s life and is considered a forefront movement. The activities is not done out of economic desperation. Examples are home births, home schooling, knitting/crocheting, making soap, growing one’s own food/ eating organic, and biking to work (not due to a drunk driving charge.)

Example: “I admire you guys for being so 'primitively progressive.' I feel like I could never grow enough food to put a dent in my grocery bill. “

A political platform defined usually by, but not limited to, the developmental advancement of American society through pragmatic and practical means. Contrary to right wing beliefs, Progressives are not the second coming of communism and the russians, instead they seek to improve the lifestyles of the vast majority of Americans by providing tax funded benefits that would help the country grow as a whole.

amendment process

The process of changing or adding to the US Constitution. The original writers of the Constitution decided to make this task difficult by stating that 2/3 of Congress had to approve it; and after that, 3/4 of the states had to approve it. This process is irksome and time-consuming.

The amendment process caused the law 3 years time before it finally passed.

The Epic Chord Progression

The same four chords used in nearly every hit song which could be defined as "epic". Many people are fooled by the various transpositions, but its all the same stuff. The most popular progression of course being Em, C, G, D (just one example). Please note, the progression can start on any one of the chords, but it will include the other three invariably.
(First noted by a pair of absurdly innovative Oregon high school students).

Musically Informed Person:

Process Control

A branch of Chemical Engineering that makes as much sense as a sequel to 'Titanic'. Also known as the 'Dark Arts of Chem Eng' or 'Absolute Bullshit', this course is hated by all who've encountered it.
Can only be learned from an evil professor through a series of lectures of confusing and often archaic material.

Process Control is a pathway to abilities some consider unnatural.

I felt a great disturbance in the input signal, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
