My Chemical Romance
A band who I myself enjoy listening to, but who by no means deserve the shit they recieve by people around the world. Just because they have simple guitar riffs doesnt mean they are bad. A bands credibility doesnt lie within their guitarsists abilities. It lies within their efforts they put into the music, and the way they put music together. Their band of teeny bopper fans who they have gathered since the release of their third album will soon be dismantled once they realise MCR's true potential. MCR's singles were not amongst their best songs, but their imagination for putting the video clips together deserves credit. To anyone who wants to call them emo, goth, punk, pop, whatever, do so at your own will. The true MCR fans will stick by them no matter what, and they will endure any flak from anyone who throws it at them, but know, every band has its haters. every band has its avid fans.
and every band is amazing in what they do in their own way. they all have fans, they all have haters, they all have labellers and people who hear one song or see one picture and pass judgement.
to all those people i say; get over it. go back to your own music and leave the others alone.

My Chemical Romance
An okish band far over rated and with a similar average fan age of Busted. Other then the fact that people speak about them like they are so original and far overate the bands looks they don't suck too much. Ok...so they can be considered emo (OMG he said mcr are emo when they're not, yes, they have quite emotional lyrics and are not helped by the fact that many of their fans label themselves as emo) They do actually have their moments lyrically and overall. But as for Gerard being the sexiest man in the world or MCR being the best band ever i think you people who believe that need to red pill.

Mcr is a kick ass band from NJ you don't like there stuff I understand but don't ttalk shit cause that is as low as you can get. Bu tyou should really listen to some bands before judging them on thier looks or style in cloths. MAybe you should for real it is down right low to Talk shit about a band if you have not heard them. An EXTREMELY good band with alot of talent and potential. this band consits of Gerard Way- vocals, Mikey Way-bass, Frank Iero- Guitar, Ray Toro- Guitar and lets not forget the lovable Bob Bryar-Drums. My Chemical Romance came out with their first album in 2002 consisting of some really great songs such as demolition lovers, skylines and turnstiles (which is actually the first song Gerard wrote for MCR and it was inspired by 9/11) Early sunsets over monroeville and more. and in 2004 they got a new lable and a new album called Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, which really put them on the map. unfortuanatly MTV got ahold of them and, im sorry to admit this, ravaged that album.
some people think MCR is Emo which is total and complete bullshit. whoever thinks that should actually take the time out of their sad lives and listen to the glorious sounds of MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. To me, their music is undescribeable but if you actually listen to them you will see what i mean. they are just amazing

'cancer' for example is so emotionally powerful and 'im not okay' even has meaning to it, a background story so to say.
mcr do not advertises self harming, they try to help kids get through their problems and beat them. gerard way (lead singer) has been through self harming, drug abuse, alcoholism and hes been bullied , and he tries his best to get kids to stop killing themselves.
