The immediate gratification that an Instagram user feels when their phone displays the notification that 'somebody liked your post'
It's an Instagram addict sort of thing.

Do it, live it, know it!

MissPloppyDooDoo posted an image within Instagram, and with anticipation eagerly checked her phone periodically at 30 second intervals for any notifications. Each fruitless check, sadly, deteriorated her mood and regularity. Things however, suddenly took a turn for the better when she saw her phone displaying a "MrCisternStroker liked your post" notification from Instagram. She finally experienced the Instagramification rush which then restored her to her former happy no suppositories required demeanor :D

When you upload an image onto the social networking app Instagram, and you proceed to get many likes on the picture, hopefully from many great looking dimes and slampieces to insure maximal domage and increasing the growth of ones social ego.

A theory created by girls. If a girl compliments other girls on Instagram enough then she will receive good comments from other girls on her own Instagram posts.

Instagram-Ghosting

Instagram-ghosting is when you add someone on Instagram just to get them to follow you back then as soon as they do you unfollow them hoping they wont notice. People do this to gain more followers than adds and to appear popular.
Sometimes people add lists of people in bulk and unfollow them again in bulk. This usually cultivates tens of followers and likes.

It's quite rude and needy.

Instagram-Ghosting: I thought this model added me on instagram because they liked my pictures but as soon as they got my follow-back they Instagram-ghosted me.

An Instagram-Ghost followed me on instagram today.

A modern movement where individuals are more concerned about how they are perceived on Instagram or other social media, rather than how they treat people in real life.

When someone will comment on your post but will not say “hi” in real life. This is a prime example of the Instagram Age.
