Grubmint

Government. A way to say the word "government" in an unsecured electronic communication so as to not alert surveillance. Often used by paranoid individuals, especially those who have ProtonMail and email others using Gmail, etc.

"I do not trust the grubmint to do the right thing!"
"The grubmint sent undercover FBI agents to a local church!"

Grumblin

A person who gives off “grumpy”-“gremlin”-“grumble grumble” energy. They may be outwardly projecting this energy onto others, making them somewhat unpleasant to be around.
Can also be used in the plural form, Grumblins.

Dave is being a grumblin right now, I’m not sure if he will want to go out with us tonight.

Like-grubbing

The act of posting on Facebook and compulsively checking the updates to see how many likes your posts have garnered.

Areola is always posting crap on Facebook and she checks her updates every five minutes to count the likes. She is obsessed with like-grubbing!

Grade Grubbing

The action of begging your professor to round your grade up, usually done during final exam season. Usually done by people who don't actually deserve it.

Becky: Professor, can you round my 54 to a 90?
Professor: I do not round grades up. How about studying instead of grade grubbing?
