Communism 

System of government where everyone is equal and all private property is abolished and given to the government. Sounds like a good idea, but it kinda fails when you notice that a doctor is getting paid the same wage as a janitor and you just surrendered all of your power and property to the government, who can do whatever the hell they want with it.

It's amazing that; despite the fact that all attempts at Communism have resulted in failure and often the slaughter of millions of innocent people, people still support its crackpot ideology.

Equality is not the same as fairness.

The situation where, the worst possible scenario that could happen, does. Usually a situation that one hasn't thought of.

Man skips work to pick his kid up from school. When he arrives, he finds out his son ran away. On his way back home the man hits his son, killing him, and his job fires him for being late to work.

An idea that worked out on paper, but failed miserably in practice. It actually might've worked quite well if Joseph Stalin didn't turn himself into an all-controlling despot.

Also a rarely understood economical system, partly because of capitalist governments during the Cold War telling people that it's wrong, and partly 'cos most people can't stand reading ten words of Marx's writing.

Communism in its essence consists of a classless society with an equalised economy. And no, I'm not defending or supporting it, I'm just posting my observations of it.

Communism 

An Idealistic system of government. Started with Karl Marx (author of The Communist Manifesto), and has never been acheived by any country in its idealized form.
The basic principles stand that because in capitalism the owner (bourgoise) always pwns the working class (proletarians). Marx's solution was to eliminate all class, have everyone equal, and eliminate money, government, and social systems. Although utopian when carried out correctly, the idealogy has been consistently defeated by the natural human greed, hax0rs, and the need for being the best. Because Humans are naturally greedy, and by evolutionary stand points always strive to acheive maximum 1337ness, the theory of Communism developed by Marx is practically implausible and ideal.

Bob: Although capitalism is a good idea, it breeds two seperate classes, and tends to cause poverty.
Jim: Yeah, but communism is impossible for humans to use, so we are basically screwed.
