A Carolyn Bryant is a woman who seeks attention by having people punished excessively. Punishments are framed as defensive or corrective measures. CB's are histrionically addicted to being lavished with sympathy and protective indignance. A CB's goal is to watch others needlessly over-defend her. She may repeatedly reinvigorate old, resolved conflicts or scower for reasons to punish people. CB behavior is sometimes called "waving the white handkerchief" and is a form of "duping delight."
