The Boars needed gaming fungus level power to break away from the pigs, so fungus the second granted them that power, losing his own which lead to his existential crisis. This is why it took so long for the gaming fungus to reach Sebi. To this day, Boars are still important animals to fungus followers and they still work with the gaming fungus.
