BMS

Short for "Butt Measurement System". Used to describe the amount of space in a walkway as a function of the number of butts that could fit across the space. Typically used when referring to the distance between a perimeter countertop and an island countertop in a kitchen. A kitchen walkway should have a 2-butt minimum, but 3-butt is ideal. A 3-BMS space would allow someone to stand at the sink, another person to stand at the stove, and someone else could still pass through the space. Coined by Samir from Celebrity Home Shopping.

This kitchen is pretty small and only a 2 BMS - a 3 BMS kitchen would be ideal.

BMS Prairie

Barrington Middle School Prairie Campus. Where there’s only two successful couples that make out and the rest are just having sex. Most people are rich but some are poor and the rich ones flex on the poor one.
