Any port in a storm

It's a sort of motto, used in jest or as an insult about another. It means to accept less than your desires or to lower your standards under pressure.

When closing time approached, Dan started hitting on some old bat. "Any port in a storm", muttered the bartender to the waitress.

"Any money" refers to the implication of making a bet on a certain situation, the term derives from the statement "I'll bet you any amount of money that...". This figure of speech may not necessarily mean the person is being serious about making an actual bet but more about the fact that they are very positive about the statement and will place the odds on that situation being likely.
