This phrase has absolutely _no_ racial dimension, despite appearances. It is a Northern British (e.g. Yorkshire) term referring to a silly person. It does not derive from nigger and should not be considered racist at all.

Commonly confused with "nignog," the word "nig-nog" is the non-politically correct way of saying "cultural appropriation." The reason it means this is because the part "nig" derives from the word "nigga," while the word "nog" derives from "eggnog." This leads you to the conclusion that because eggnog is white and made with milk, and the word "nigga" is associated with black people, it must have to do with black and white. Then you take into count the word "nignog," which is chocolate eggnog, and think, "If a white person were to be involved in black culture, it would kind of be like chocolate egg nog." Therefor, it means cultural appropriation.
