1: Overflap is a term used by Flappy Bird players to describe losing by the common mistake of overflapping. To flap in the over-popular app, you simply tap the screen.

Overflapping usually leads to death by hitting pipes.

2: This verb is also used to describe someone who vainly tries to impress someone, but fails.

Player: *taps screen vigorously, one pipe away from beating best score*
Friend: Hey, bro!
Player: *overflaps and hits the top of the pipe.* FRIEND, LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!

When marking a golf ball on the putting surface, as the golfer reaches down to place his or her ball mark they strategically flip the mark 6 inches in front of where their ball is located. Thereby shortening the length of the ensuing putt by the length of the overflip.
