Ingre's Violin

Refers to the French neoclassical artist Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, who while famous for his paintings was also incredibly talented though less well known for his skill on the violin.

The phrase refers to a person who is known for one talent but is so exceptional at another unrelated talent they could be equally well know for the second if not for the first.

Everyone knows joe is a great baseball player but his work as a photographer is a bit of an Ingre's Violin.

It is spanish for "I don't speak English" and happens to be the best excuse for getting out of everything and anything. It can be used to get out of nearly every awkward situation. The concept is further explained and demonstrated in the song "No Hablo Ingles" by Bowling For Soup.

Colegio Ingles is the best school in Monterrey, Mexico. All of their students are very happy on this school. It is the richest school ever. The students that attend this school are all spoiled and are a piece of shit. Everyone pretends to be so nice when in reality they backstab each other.
