Get the Constituentsmug. In the language of politicians and those who govern, the constituency are those who are governed, or supposedly represented, by legislators and executive officials.

In a true Democracy, the constituency would be self-governing. However, that might endanger the livelihood of legislators and politicians, so it isn't done that way.
