A lesbian who goes by they/them pronouns. This can mean they’re non-binary or just prefer those pronouns. Theysbians are a valid part of the LGBT communtiy, as well as Hesbians (Lesbians going by he/him.)
“Lesbians are women or non-binarypeople attracted to other women, meaning theysbians are absolutely valid!”
A lesbian who uses they/them pronouns. While used more commonly for people who are non-binary, is not exclusive to people who are non-binary.
Simon is a they/them lesbian, or a Theysbian. They are non-binary and also attracted to women. They are NOT a women and they are NOT any less of a lesbian for not identifying as one.
A they/them lesbian is a woman, female-aligned person, or maybe even non-aligned person who identifies as a lesbian and uses they/them pronouns. They could use they/them pronouns because they're nonbinary, or for another reason such as disconnection from womanhood. They are completely valid, and have been from the start.
“you know my girlfriend veronica? they use they them pronouns now!”
“oh? does that mean you two aren’t a lesbian couple anymore?”
“no we’re still lesbians, they just identify as a theysbian”
