Verb, to sell drugs, specifically to buy from someone else, split or 'chop' the product into smaller pieces and sell those at a higher cost, swallowing the difference as profit.

These weapons are highly illegal, but work better in tighter environments and allow for easier concealment. In the case of a simple double barrel shotgun, where the term originates, you can literally take a long hunting shotgun and use a metal hack saw to cut or 'chop' the barrel down by over half it's length, cleaning up what you cut with some sandpaper, then cut off most of the stock but a place for your hand. However, recently the term has been used to include any illegally modified weapon, particularly short barreled rifles with various automatic conversions.
