At the greysexual convention, I met people who only experience sexual attraction very rarely, some who feel sexual attraction but no desire for a sexual relationship, and some people who experience a feeling somewhere in between platonic and sexual. It was a fun day!

A person who is sexually active with men, women, & animals. Typically caught doing lewd, barbaric, sexual acts without remorse.

adj: sometimes having sexual attraction and/or feelings, but usually not. generally asexual but perhaps capable of sexual desire under certain conditions, eg love or romance.

noun: person who identifies as graysexual

Whereas sexual orientation exists along a continuum of heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual, sex drive also exists along a continuum. Some people (highly sexual) desire to have sex with anyone they can; some people (strictly asexual) have no sexual desires; graysexuals are predominantly asexual but capable of manifesting sexual desires under specific circumstances. This is not to be confused with an asexual that is satisfying a partner's sexual desires despite lacking sexual desire of their own.

Grayasexual 

An umbrella term for someone who is on the asexual spectrum.

It encompasses people who identify strongly with asexuality, but don’t feel like asexual is the most correct word for them. There are many possible definitions and identities under the gray asexual umbrella, but here are some of the most commonly seen ones:
- feels sexual attraction infrequently, of low intensity, to few people, or in specific circumstances
- feels sexual attraction, but has no desire to act on it
- has confusing or ambiguous feelings of sexual attraction
- feels that sexual attraction is not a meaningful concept to them personally

The main thing to remember about gray asexuality is that an individual is allowed to define it any way they choose and that it is a unique orientation. If a gray asexual’s definition doesn’t match up with one of the above, it doesn’t mean their identity is not valid.
