Something repulsive beyond imagination, or just a general term of derision. Derived from Irish broadcaster Ryan Tubridy.

'hows your new gaf working out for you, John?', posed Flannery. 'Man, its absolute tubridy - the shower leaks, the neighbours are pricks, and there's a strange smell of rotting flesh in the kitchen. Tubridy, complete tubridy...' replied John with an expression of disgust on his face.

Irish slang - A sum of money paid by a public body, off the books, to an employee, "without the knowledge" of said employee... wink wink nod nod*

Originates from a scandal with Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTE) and undisclosed payments they made to TV and radio presenter Ryan Tubridy.

Ryan is worried about his career now that people know about his RTE Tubsidy.
