Kerbal Space Program is an indie space-sandbox game known for it's steep learning curve and accurate physics simulation. Many players were originally turned off by the "rocket science" aspect of the game. A phrase popularized by the game is "Add moar boosters" and it has been mentioned on xkcd.

You play the game by building phallic rockets and trying to get your little green turds, or Kerbals as the game calls them, into the cold, dark emptiness of space trying to get to other planets. Playing Kerbal Space Program regularly will make you more qualified for a job at NASA than actually going to school.

NASA boss: So why would I hire you for this job?
