Colloquial teen slang, originating from the eastern seaboard of Australia, specifically the New south wales peninsula. to 'tell it' is to activaly participate in the chosen conversation/context.
example 1(conversation):
cuz1-"hey cuz, i got roots last night"
cuz2-"tell it!"

example 2(context):
cuz1-"hey cuz, theres a party in ettalong tonight"
cuz2-"Should we tell it?"

After someone has been caught red handed they may try to excuse thier actions. This phrase is said to shut them up.
I tripped and fell on that fiveteen year old girl while her legs were open.

tell it to your blog 

This is used in forums and can be said aloud if you'd like. It is told to drama queens and people generally being overly dramatic. It can also be said if people are talking for themselves to be heard and aren't contributing to anything when they're speaking/typing.
Jessica: So I bought three barbie dolls and then I combed their hair for six hours. They're really pretty just like me. I wish somebody would love me.

Jessica: What's that mean?

Arthur: Look it up on urban dictionary you overdramatic (expletive).

A response to someone's complaint that they didn't get what they feel they deserved.

Similar to 'Talk to the hand'.
