journaling

a hobby that is a cross between scrapbooking, journal writing, collaging, and in many instances, sketching. not to be confused with online journaling, this sort of journaling refers to the type that results in a tangible notebook of images and words that creatively depict ideas and events in an individual's life.

Susie: She's journaling.
Catherine: oh.

journaling fatigue

the abandoning of any true use or productivity in a journal or other written medium because too much time, energy, and anxiety have been poured into making pretty layouts.
Trish's future log, monthly log, and daily logs all have adorable colorful kittens drawn in all the margins, but she now has too much journaling fatigue to actually use her new Bullet Journal.
