Improper Acronym for Florida Gulf Coast University. Seen in comments about the schools rise to fame in 2013 NCAA March Madness. The proper acronym is FGCU. Seems to occur due to the fact that the school is named as Florida Gulf Coast in articles.

This is how all schools are named. We don't call Florida State FS.
