Duely noted 

An expression used in an email response when you're blowing someone off who is on a tangent that isn't worth responding to. There isn't much they can send back after this type of response.

Incoming email: "You should go jump off a cliff, you are worthless and you don't know what you are talking about."

Response: "Duely noted."

A phrase that is used to disregard yet acknowledge someone’s criticism, critique, observation, or suggestion. The connotation is a snide ‘I don’t care what you think. You are probably right, but that doesn't matter. Shut up.’

The situation often ends as an ‘I told you so’

“Bill, you really should turn off the power before you replace that switch” …

Used colloquially and incorrectly today by young people as a sarcastic and dismissive method of dismissing someone else's criticism -- often to have the last word.

Mature person, "I prefer to watch classic horror films because they relied on well developed storylines and good storytelling principles instead of today's CGI horror films"
