Diamond Crip aka Six Deuce Diamond Crips are reputedly the oldest crip gang in Northern California and one of the first Crip Gangs outside the Los Angeles area. The numbers 6 and 2 were homage to 62nd street, the members of this gang were responsible for Diamonds becoming Crips and they are affiliated under the East Coast Crip banner. As time went, Diamond Crip felt the need to self identify as a sole entity crip gang that operated under the Northern California card (set), separating from their Southern California counterpart. 62 became interchangeable as a alphanumeric symbol to the initials "FB" (Fresno Boyz).
